Kahlia Meschiati

Managing Director

@Hiya App

Kahlia is a co-founder and Managing Director of Hiya, with 8 years’ experience in both white and blue collar labour hire, permanent recruitment and recruitment consulting. In addition, she was instrumental in launching Hiya’s internal recruitment arm Office People in 2010 and, as its General Manager, led Office People to profitability in its first year.

Hiya has developed a proprietary digital recruitment platform which incorporates video technology and is designed to streamline the recruitment process for employers, candidates and recruiters alike. Hiya’s all-in-one integrated recruitment tool encompasses candidate identification via a searchable marketplace of video resumés, screening and selection. Central to the platform is video functionality, enabling candidates to present themselves via a video resumé, answering questions in the form of a one-way interview designed to replace several of the time-consuming stages typically present in the current hiring process.
