Cheryl is the National Head of Community & Comms at Stone & Chalk, an Impact Network catalysing commercial success for Founders in emerging tech sectors. Previously, she was the CEO of StartCon, which she built from the ground up into an international events & entertainment company in the tech industry. She hosted the largest startup event in Australia, with 4000+ attendees and the largest pitch competition in APAC with a $1M prize. Cheryl has hosted over 400 interviews with high-profile founders, investors, and industry experts. She is an advisor for programs within the City of Sydney’s Tech Startups Action Plan, an active mentor for young entrepreneurs, and a strategic advisor for several startups.
With a PhD in Life Sciences and a Global Executive MBA, Nathalie worked for 15 years in both public research and a big Pharma (Nestlé Skin Health). She is the founder and CEO of two wine start-ups (Bottli and eBottli). Bottli offers monthly discoveries of premium and luxury French and Australian wines Australia-wide. eBottli guarantees the traceability of the bottles in order to fight against counterfeiting by integrating IoT and blockchain tools. She is part of the board of Wine Industry Suppliers Australia (WISA). She’s passionate about leading and managing teams and projects, discussing with customers and stakeholders about their needs and providing concrete solutions.
Kim is the CEO & co-founder of Mr Yum, an omni-channel ordering experience for hospitality powering table ordering, takeaway and delivery. Only 6 months in, Mr Yum raised $1.5M in seed capital and were named Startup Smart’s top 12 startups to watch in 2020. Kim’s mantra is ‘be comfortable feeling uncomfortable’. We’re in a crisis. Hannah is a Principal at Tempus, an early stage venture capital firm investing in the next generation of ‘impossible’ companies. She’s spent her career working in the US, Europe and Australia across business development, sales and operations at high growth tech companies including Dropbox, Pandora Radio, and Canva. She also built the executive search practice for Lookahead Search, securing top engineering leadership talent for some of Australia’s best tech companies.
